What are the benefits of IV formulas?

  • Intravenous replenishment of vitamins is the most effective way to ensure that the replaced vitamins and minerals are completely in your system.
  • Oral replacement doesn’t compare to IV formulations as the gut and liver filter out much of the material. Consider that 70% of the population is Vitamin D deficient and yet many take Vitamin D replacements.
  • There is immediate effect with IV formulations
  • Most people have low total body magnesium, potassium, calcium, zinc, and vitamin B complex levels. These can be addressed through IV replacement.
  • IV Vitamin C and Glutathione act on preventing oxidation (‘rusting’) in our bodies by detoxifying free radicals that form in fat and in the process of energy production. These can be administered intravenously to decrease the oxidation from stress that we all face in day-to-day living

Which formula is best for me?

  • If you are uncertain of your needs, we will do a consultation to help determine the best treatment program for your condition.
  • For many medical conditions and symptom-complexes, repeat infusions weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly may be needed.
  • Micronutrient testing can be ordered to assist in modifying your program
  • In most cases, a general replacement formula is a proper way to get started, such as a Myer’s cocktail with trace mineral support.

What the ingredients do:

L-Carnitine: Transports fatty acids into the mitochondria (powerhouse of the cell) to be burned for energy production and transports waste products out of the mitochondria.

Methionine: An essential amino acid that helps the liver process and break down fat, lower cholesterol, and alleviate fatigue.

Inositol: Helps transport fatty acids in and out of the liver and gut and acts synergistically with choline to mobilize fat.

Choline: Helps to mobilize fats and prevent their deposition in other areas.

Leucine: A branched amino acid involved in ATP production and the stimulation of muscle production. It also regulates blood sugar levels and increases growth hormone. Leucine can rapidly be converted to glucose to prevent lean mass loss during times of negative caloric balance.

Isoleucine: It has a  increasing endurance, helping to repair lean tissue, and encouraging blood clotting at the site of injury. This BCAA has been shown to provide potential benefit for athletes because its primary role in the body is to increase energy and help recovery from strenuous physical activity.

Valine: A branched amino acid involved in tissue repair, muscle metabolism, and nitrogen balance. It also stimulates normal mental health function as well.

Branched Chain Amino Acids are rapidly depleted in muscle tissue during work outs and replacement leads to lean mass stimulation and development of muscle mass.

Vitamin B12: Involved in DNA production, normal nervous system functioning and blood cell production.  B12 increases metabolic processes and an overall sense of well-being.

Vitamin C: Functions as an anti-oxidant to reduce the rusting potential that occurs with stress, inflammation, exercise, and weight loss. As energy is produced in the form of ATP, free electrons cause oxidation of fat (rancidity) and can cause a breakdown of our tissues if Vitamin C is not plentiful.

B Vitamins : Increase our metabolism. Vitamin B12 is associated with fat and carbohydrate metabolism and protein synthesis. Vitamin B12 can be converted to coenzyme B12 in tissues; in this form it is essential for conversion of methylmalonate to succinate and synthesis of methionine from homocysteine (a reaction which also requires folate). In the absence of coenzyme B12, tetrahydrofolate cannot be regenerated from its inactive storage form, 5-methyl tetrahydrofolate, resulting in functional folate deficiency.

MIC-C Injectables for rapid weight loss and muscle preservation:

Methionine  / Inositol  / Choline Chloride / L-carnitine / B1 (Thiamine HCl)  / B5

  • Increased fatty acid mobilization and weight loss
  • Muscle mass preservation

How often is the product administered?

  • Up to three times a week IM and in conjunction with the Myers formula and amino acids as needed.

  • Metabolism
  • Enhanced Mood
  • Immune Function and detox

How Long is the drip?

  • This takes approximately 35 minutes.

What the Ingredients do:

Vitamin C: Helps with carnitine synthesis and muscle enhancement as well as acting as an antioxidant to scoop up free radicals produced as we create energy. It is involved with collagen production for our skin and bones as well as tissue repair. Vitamin C is involved in the metabolism of tyrosine, carbohydrates, norepinephrine, histamine, and phenylalanine. Other processes that require ascorbic acid include biosynthesis of corticosteroids and aldosterone, proteins, neuropeptides, serotonin, and carnitine. Serotonin is involved in enhancement of happiness and better mood. Blood vessel integrity depends on Vitamin C.

Zinc is a cofactor in multiple enzymatic reactions, including the production of dopamine (the molecule of reward and motivation) as well as DNA and RNA production and tissue repair. Zinc is important in the senses of smell and taste.

Selenium is a part of glutathione peroxidase which protects cell components from oxidative damage due to peroxides produced in cellular metabolism. It prevents us from ‘rusting’ internally. Selenium is important I thyroid function as well. Lastly, hair and nails depend on selenium stores to be ample.

Manganese is involved with numerous energy-producing enzymes .

Copper: Involved with iron transport as well as the production of red and white blood cells.

Glutathione :  The master antioxidant involved in squelching oxidation that occurs as we produce energy and break down tissues in our daily lives. It removes free radicals from our body. It is made up of three amino acids : cysteine, glycine, and glutamate. It is involved with liver detox.

Athletic and recovery formulas

A muscle and fitness enhancement formula for pre- and post-workout recovery to enhance and preserve muscle mass and energy.

Myer’s Type cocktails (Ascorbic Acid, Pyridoxine, Riboflavin, Niacinamide, Thiamine, Hydroxocobalamin, and Dexpanthenol) with amino acids to stimulate recovery with antioxidant potential and amino acids for immue recovery, muscle enhancement, and bood vessel dilation.  The amino acids include:  L-Arginine, Ornithine, L-Glutamine, Glycine, L-Leucine.

L-Arginine: Stimulates the production of NO (Nitrous Oxide) in our blood vessels to allow for vasodilation and lower blood pressure with vascular health.

Glycine: Glycine is a non-essential amino acid that’s involved in the production of DNA, phospholipids, and collagen. It’s also involved in the release of energy. It is involved in collagen formation and muscle repair, promoting endurance, strength, and performance. Glycine is an inhibitory molecule for the brain, working with GABA and Taurine to relax the brain. Glycine is critical to gut health by being invoved in the production of collagen and gelatin in the gut lining.

Ornithine: l-ornithine may improve athletic performance, such as; speed, strength, and power. It is involved with the production of urea from ammonia (detox) and also the production of arginine for vascular health and erectile dysfunction. It also promotes wound recovery in the manufacture of collagen.

Leucine: A branched amino acid involved in ATP production and the stimulation of muscle production. It also regulates blood sugar levels and increases growth hormone. Leucine can rapidly be converted to glucose to prevent lean mass loss during times of negative caloric balance.

Immunity Plan:
